Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Protocol Engineer with expertise in Go programming language to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and developing a dedicated settlement layer for rollups that is highly compatible with the Cosmos-SDK. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge blockchain technology and contribute to the evolution of decentralized systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement a dedicated settlement layer for rollups with high compatibility to Cosmos-SDK
- Modify and adapt Tendermint and Cosmos-SDK core components to meet our settlement layer requirements
- Develop and optimize blockchain protocols for improved performance and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate the settlement layer with other system components
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of protocol implementations
- Stay updated with the latest developments in blockchain technology and propose innovative solutions
Job Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Go programming language
- Deep understanding of Proof-of-Stake (POS) blockchain fundamentals
- Extensive experience working with Tendermint and Cosmos-SDK
- Knowledge of rollup technologies and layer 2 scaling solutions
- Experience in designing and implementing blockchain protocols
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other blockchain frameworks and protocols
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects
- Knowledge of cryptographic protocols and security best practices
- Understanding of decentralized finance (DeFi) applications
