Job Description
The DeBox Campus Ambassador Program, backed by DeBox—a pioneering initiative in the Web3 social space—is dedicated to fostering global collaboration among university-level Web3 enthusiasts and cultivating vibrant Web3 communities across educational institutions. As a key component of DeBox's ecosystem, this program aims to bridge the gap between Web3 technology and academia by organizing impactful educational events, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions. By partnering with industry experts and thought leaders, we will create a series of campus-focused public welfare activities designed to demystify Web3 concepts, promote blockchain literacy, and empower students with practical insights into decentralized technologies. This role will serve as a vital link between DeBox's vision and the next generation of Web3 innovators, ensuring that academic communities remain at the forefront of digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively promote DeBox's mission within university networks through social media, campus events, and peer-to-peer outreach.
- Collaborate with DeBox's team to design and execute educational programs tailored for students, including workshops on blockchain fundamentals, smart contracts, and decentralized applications.
- Establish and maintain Web3 communities at universities by organizing regular meetups, Q&A sessions, and collaborative projects with fellow ambassadors.
- Engage with industry experts to co-host public welfare events, such as panel discussions, hackathons, and mentorship programs, that provide hands-on learning experiences.
- Collect and analyze feedback from students and faculty to refine program content and improve community engagement strategies.
- Develop content for promotional materials, including social media posts, newsletters, and event summaries, to raise awareness about Web3 opportunities.
- Represent DeBox at university events, conferences, and networking sessions to build relationships with academic stakeholders and potential collaborators.
- Support the onboarding of new ambassadors by sharing best practices, resources, and insights about effective Web3 community building.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled university student with a strong interest in Web3 technologies, blockchain, and decentralized systems.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner.
- Proven experience in organizing events, workshops, or community initiatives within academic settings, or equivalent passion and initiative.
- Basic understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and Web3 ecosystems, with a willingness to deepen expertise through training.
- Strong social media presence and digital marketing skills to effectively promote DeBox's initiatives to a global student audience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and relationship-building.
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and educational environments that prioritize knowledge sharing and community growth.
- Availability to dedicate at least 5 hours per week to program activities, including event coordination, content creation, and community engagement.
- Preference for candidates with experience in cryptocurrency, NFTs, or decentralized finance (DeFi) domains.
- Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Japanese, Korean, Spanish) is a plus for expanding DeBox's global reach.
