Job Description
Velvet Capital is seeking a dedicated Community Manager to drive engagement and growth across its digital platforms. This role will focus on amplifying brand visibility through strategic social media initiatives, fostering vibrant online communities, and creating compelling content to showcase the platform's unique value proposition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding Velvet Capital's presence on key channels including Telegram, Discord, and Twitter, while also organizing interactive events to deepen user connections. This position requires a proactive approach to community building, with an emphasis on cultivating a loyal and active user base that actively participates in the platform's ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies to enhance Velvet Capital's online visibility and follower engagement across platforms like Twitter, Telegram, and Discord.
- Create high-quality, original content (text, images, videos) that highlights Velvet Capital's features, benefits, and community-driven initiatives.
- Actively manage and grow Velvet Capital's community groups, ensuring they remain dynamic, inclusive, and aligned with the platform's goals.
- Host and moderate Twitter Spaces sessions to provide real-time updates, answer user questions, and foster direct interaction with the audience.
- Monitor community feedback and sentiment to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in Velvet Capital's offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align community efforts with broader marketing and product development strategies.
- Track and report on community metrics such as growth rates, engagement levels, and user retention to measure success and optimize performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge in community management practices.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in community management, preferably within the blockchain or fintech industry, with a strong track record of growing online communities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with diverse audiences and convey Velvet Capital's message.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Twitter, Telegram, Discord) and the ability to create visually appealing content for these channels.
- Strong understanding of community building principles, including moderation, user onboarding, and fostering a sense of belonging.
- Ability to host live events and manage real-time interactions, with experience in organizing Twitter Spaces or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Premiere, etc.) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hootsuite) to measure engagement and optimize strategies.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a consistent community presence.
- Passion for the blockchain space and a deep understanding of Velvet Capital's mission to drive innovation and accessibility in decentralized finance.
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills being a plus for reaching global audiences.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive attitude to identify and implement new community initiatives.
