Spanish Business Assistant (Latin American Market)
StarPago is committed to providing secure and efficient one-stop global payment services for individual and corporate clients, covering areas such as collections, payments, and foreign exchange.
This position will primarily support the company's business communication and daily operations in the Spanish-speaking Latin American market, assisting in liaising with local banks, tax authorities, and other relevant institutions to facilitate the smooth operation of cross-border payment services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in liaising with banks, tax authorities, and other government or professional service institutions in Latin America, tracking document submissions, business communications, and related matters.
- Provide professional interpretation and translation (oral and written) for internal and external meetings, emails, contracts, and business documents between Chinese and Spanish, ensuring accurate and professional information transfer.
- Support the local Latin American team leader in business communications, meeting organization, travel arrangements, and daily administrative tasks.
- Organize and maintain business documents, meeting minutes, and communication records, ensuring timely follow-up and coordination of related matters.
- Facilitate cross-cultural communication between the Chinese team and local Latin American teams or partners to enhance collaboration efficiency.
- Complete other business support tasks assigned by supervisors.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Spanish, International Trade, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Fluent in both Chinese and Spanish (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), capable of independently handling business communications and professional document translation.
- Strong communication, coordination, information organization, and task execution skills, with attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, adaptable to cross-regional and cross-time zone collaboration.
- High professional ethics and confidentiality awareness, able to handle sensitive business and partner information appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in cross-border payments, fintech, banking, internet, or Web3 industries.
- Work, study, or living experience in Latin America, familiar with local business culture and communication styles.
- Experience in liaising with banks, tax authorities, or government institutions.
- Familiarity with professional terms related to payments, clearing, settlement, foreign exchange, or compliance.
- Proficiency in English as a working language.
