Job Description
Chain Sniper is a critical role focused on developing and optimizing systems to identify and capitalize on profitable on-chain opportunities. The ideal candidate will build solutions to monitor various blockchain activities, including token trading, NFT minting, and DeFi protocol interactions, ensuring timely and profitable transaction submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize a system to quickly identify on-chain opportunities and submit profitable transactions.
- Monitor blockchain transactions, including token trading, NFT minting, and DeFi protocol interactions.
- Ensure high success rates by prioritizing transaction submission ahead of competitors (e.g., MEV bots).
- Minimize latency in transaction submission and confirmation to maximize efficiency.
- Optimize gas costs, particularly in Layer 2 (L2) environments, to reduce operational expenses.
- Enhance system robustness to handle abnormal scenarios such as transaction failures, L2 sequencing delays, and MEV competition.
Optimization Objectives
- High Success Rate: Ensure transactions are submitted and confirmed before competitors.
- Low Latency: Reduce the time taken for transaction submission and confirmation.
- Low Cost: Optimize gas fees, especially in L2 environments, to maintain profitability.
- Robustness: Handle edge cases like transaction failures, L2 delays, and MEV races effectively.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in blockchain technology, smart contracts, and on-chain transaction monitoring.
- Experience with MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) strategies and bot development.
- Strong understanding of gas optimization techniques, particularly in L2 solutions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transaction failures and network delays.
- Knowledge of DeFi protocols, NFT ecosystems, and token trading mechanisms.
