Community Manager at Ocean Finance

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Be the voice of Ocean: Operate and grow our presence on X (Twitter), Discord, and other Web3-native spaces.
• Set the vibe: Craft compelling narratives, create engaging memes, ignite discussions, and surf trends to keep the community buzzing.
• Community growth: Attract and engage the right audience, including Degen traders, yield farmers, stablecoin enthusiasts, and curious newcomers.
• Launch community campaigns: Coordinate airdrops, community quests, trading contests, and meme wars to drive engagement and growth.
• Moderate & support: Maintain a healthy, FUD-free community space by answering questions, educating users, and escalating issues when necessary.
• Be our radar: Monitor on-chain narratives, new alpha, and macro shifts, and bring back valuable insights to the core team.
• Collaborate with BD & Marketing: Work closely with Business Development and Marketing teams to launch campaigns and partnerships.

Job Requirements

• Deep understanding of crypto, DeFi, and Web3 culture, with a passion for memecoins and yield-bearing stablecoins.
• Proven experience in community management, preferably in the crypto or blockchain space.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to craft engaging content, including memes and narratives.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, chaotic environment and turn FUD into conviction.
• Experience with platforms like X (Twitter), Discord, and other Web3-native communities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor trends and provide actionable insights to the team.
