Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Community Manager to lead our community growth and engagement initiatives. This role involves developing and executing strategies to foster a vibrant and active community, collaborating closely with marketing and product teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community building, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of social platforms like Discord, Instagram, and TikTok.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community growth and engagement strategies, in collaboration with the marketing and product team.
- Lead and manage a team of community moderators, including resource allocation, scheduling, supervising performance, and providing continual feedback.
- Lead the implementation of a better user experience within our current community platform (Discord).
- Lead the development and implementation of branded social channels including Instagram and TikTok.
- Identify actionable community insights and raise market opportunities to other team members.
- Oversee the setup of Discord channels, permissions, bots, and security measures.
- Monitor, analyze, and provide reports on community & campaigns' performance, suggesting initiatives for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive community growth and engagement.
- Plan and execute community events, both in person and online.
- Lead a partnerships and collaboration plan that aims to partner with other communities in the gaming space.
- Lead the creation of consistent community events and activities that engage the community and DAO members.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in community management, preferably in the gaming or blockchain space.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and moderators.
- Deep understanding of Discord, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve community engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative mindset with the ability to plan and execute engaging community events.
- Knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in community building.
- Experience in partnerships and collaborations with other communities.
- Passion for gaming and blockchain communities is a plus.
Additional Information
As the Community Manager, you will also be responsible for understanding best practices and emerging trends within the field, planning ways to implement them to accelerate the growth of the PerionDAO community.
