Job Description
As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening Taiko's community presence and fostering active participation across multiple platforms. This position requires collaboration with Taiko's Lead Community Manager and Head of Community & Outreach to design and execute comprehensive engagement strategies. You will be responsible for daily interaction with community members, addressing their inquiries, providing support, and cultivating meaningful discussions. Additionally, you will organize and moderate community events such as calls, AMAs, and livecasts, while also participating in external events, public conversations, and hackathons to enhance visibility and collaboration. The role also involves creating high-quality content for Taiko's social media channels, including Twitter, and managing user engagement across forums like Discord, Discourse, and Reddit. You will further develop educational content such as blog posts, newsletters, and videos to inform the community about Taiko and its decentralized applications. Lastly, you will contribute to improving the Ambassador program and supporting community moderators to ensure a thriving ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cross-channel engagement strategies in collaboration with Taiko's leadership team to grow and sustain the community on platforms like Discord, social media, and developer forums.
- Actively engage with community members daily by responding to queries, providing assistance, and facilitating discussions to build trust and foster a collaborative environment.
- Organize and moderate community events such as AMAs, video livecasts, and initiatives to enhance community cohesion and participation.
- Participate in external events, public conversations, and hackathons to expand Taiko's reach and network within the blockchain space.
- Create and curate high-quality content for Taiko's Twitter and social media accounts, ensuring it aligns with brand messaging and community interests.
- Manage and engage across multiple forums including Discord, Discourse, and Reddit by posting updates, responding to comments, and driving conversations.
- Develop educational content such as blog posts, newsletters, and videos to inform the community about Taiko's features, ecosystem, and dapp developments.
- Monitor user-generated content, identify valuable contributions, and address any inappropriate or misleading posts to maintain community standards.
- Collaborate with community moderators to refine their workflows and ensure effective community management.
- Design and execute strategies to attract new users and developers to Taiko's ecosystem through the Ambassador program and other outreach initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in community management, content creation, and social media strategy within the blockchain or tech industry.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with diverse community members and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, events, and content calendars simultaneously.
- Ability to create engaging and informative content across platforms, including text, video, and interactive formats.
- Proficiency in moderating online communities and resolving conflicts while maintaining a positive environment.
- Knowledge of Taiko's protocol, ecosystem, and decentralized application landscape to provide accurate information.
- Collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams, including community managers, moderators, and developers.
- Experience with tools for content creation, social media management, and community analytics.
- Ability to adapt to evolving community needs and platform trends while maintaining brand consistency.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality content and accurate communication of Taiko's updates and initiatives.
