Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our tech team in the Web3 industry. As the CTO, you will be responsible for shaping the company's technological direction, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving the development of cutting-edge solutions. This role requires a visionary leader who can balance innovation with practical execution, while fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration within the engineering and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company's technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring it aligns with market trends and business objectives in the Web3 space
- Lead and mentor the engineering and product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify, evaluate, and prioritize new technologies, opportunities, and strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, vendors, and industry stakeholders to drive ecosystem growth
- Oversee the development and management of the company's technology budget and resources, ensuring optimal allocation for scalable and secure infrastructure
- Ensure the company's technology infrastructure is scalable, secure, and resilient to support rapid growth and evolving user demands
- Continuously evaluate and improve technology processes, practices, and systems to enhance efficiency, reduce risks, and maintain competitive advantage
- Communicate technical information and updates to the rest of the organization, translating complex concepts into actionable insights for cross-functional teams
- Drive the integration of Blockchain technology into core business operations, creating innovative use cases that deliver measurable value to brands and users
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a CTO or senior technology leader in Web3 or blockchain-related industries
- Deep technical expertise in distributed systems, smart contract development, and decentralized application (dApp) architecture
- Strong understanding of Web3 protocols, token economics, and NFT ecosystems to guide strategic technology decisions
- Excellent leadership and mentorship skills with a track record of building high-performing engineering and product teams
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, including business leaders, designers, and marketing teams
- Experience in managing technology budgets and resources while balancing innovation with financial prudence
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical vision to non-technical audiences and align stakeholders on strategic priorities
- Proven ability to lead technology transformation initiatives and drive adoption of emerging trends in the Web3 space
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate technical risks, optimize system performance, and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Preferred: Background in decentralized finance (DeFi), metaverse technologies, or Web3 infrastructure development
