Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of blockchain data, including transaction patterns, on-chain activities, and protocol behaviors, to uncover actionable insights.
• Perform mathematical modeling and derivations for DeFi protocols, validating assumptions and optimizing algorithms to enhance smart contract functionality.
• Develop and deliver detailed analysis reports that assess the security, efficiency, and compliance of blockchain-based systems and DeFi applications.
• Collaborate with product managers to refine and prioritize features, using data to guide improvements in user experience and market relevance.
• Work alongside software engineers to test, debug, and validate the technical implementation of smart contracts and decentralized applications (DApps).
• Design and maintain robust data pipelines, databases, and analytical workflows to support continuous monitoring and reporting in blockchain environments.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in blockchain technology and DeFi protocols to ensure analysis remains cutting-edge and relevant.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders through visualizations, dashboards, and clear documentation to drive informed business strategies.

Job Requirements

• Proven expertise in blockchain technology, with a strong focus on data analysis and DeFi protocol evaluation.
• Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Solidity, and SQL for data processing and smart contract development.
• Experience with blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Etherscan, Alchemy, Chainalysis) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex datasets, identify anomalies, and derive meaningful conclusions for protocol optimization.
• Ability to design and implement scalable database solutions, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset to ensure accuracy in analysis and validation of blockchain systems.
• Knowledge of cryptographic principles, consensus mechanisms, and smart contract security best practices.
• Experience with decentralized application (DApp) development or blockchain infrastructure projects is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in blockchain data analysis, DeFi protocol development, or similar roles.
• Strong background in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, and financial mathematics for decentralized systems.
• Experience with Ethereum, smart contract ecosystems, and DeFi platforms such as Uniswap, Aave, or Compound.
• Proficiency in data science methodologies, including machine learning, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals within tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and risk management strategies for blockchain applications.
• Preferred: Certification in blockchain technology (e.g., CBDC, CFA) or experience with blockchain development frameworks.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain high-quality deliverables.
