Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust multi-cloud infrastructure solutions that meet organizational scalability and security requirements on GCP and AWS platforms.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to resolve infrastructure-related issues, including system outages, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
• Oversee outsourced DevOps operations by establishing clear service-level agreements (SLAs), monitoring service delivery, and ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
• Work with the CTO to define infrastructure roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and implement cost-effective cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
• Manage blockchain node infrastructure, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of distributed ledger systems, while ensuring compatibility with cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and incident response using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Implement security best practices for cloud and blockchain environments, including network segmentation, access controls, and encryption protocols.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document infrastructure processes, create technical specifications, and ensure knowledge transfer across teams.
• Monitor system performance using cloud-native monitoring tools and third-party solutions to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and blockchain technologies to recommend innovative solutions for the organization.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and managing multi-cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on GCP and AWS.
• Deep technical expertise in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and cloud automation tools.
• Hands-on experience with blockchain technologies, such as Hyperledger, Ethereum, or other distributed ledger systems, and their integration with cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, network architecture, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including the CTO and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to lead and manage outsourced DevOps teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maintaining high service standards.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Terraform).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms for cloud environments.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) for infrastructure and blockchain systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and blockchain-related challenges.
• Preferred: Certification in cloud computing (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) or blockchain technologies.
• Preferred: Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud management platforms like VMware Cloud on AWS or Oracle Cloud.
• Preferred: Familiarity with blockchain consensus algorithms, smart contract development, and decentralized application (dApp) architecture.
• Preferred: Understanding of DevOps culture and methodologies, including Agile and DevOps toolchains (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Docker).
• Preferred: Experience with cloud cost optimization strategies and budget management for multi-cloud environments.
