Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Blockchain DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure and Operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our production services. Beyond traditional DevOps responsibilities, you will specialize in the operation and integration of blockchain nodes to seamlessly support our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Reliability: Define and track SLI/SLO metrics while driving continuous improvement for critical services.
- Automation Development: Build internal tools (using Go/Python) for deployment, rollback, configuration, and cluster operations.
- CI/CD Optimization: Enhance pipelines (canary, blue-green, progressive releases) for secure and efficient version deployments.
- Observability: Implement and maintain monitoring systems (Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry) with effective alerting mechanisms.
- Incident Management: Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and post-mortems to improve system resilience.
- Performance Engineering: Conduct capacity planning and optimization for high-throughput, low-latency workloads.
- Security Collaboration: Work with security teams to manage secrets (Vault/KMS/HSM) and harden infrastructure.
- Blockchain Operations: Maintain full nodes and RPC services, planning upgrades and production integrations.
Job Requirements
- Core Skills:
- Proficient in Linux and Kubernetes with DevOps/SRE experience
- Expertise in containers, CI/CD tools, and IaC (Terraform/Helm)
- Strong coding ability (Go preferred, Python acceptable)
- Understanding of networking and distributed systems
- Blockchain node operations knowledge (Ethereum/Solana/Bitcoin)
- Senior Requirement: 3+ years production DevOps/SRE experience
- Soft Skills: Excellent debugging skills and cross-team communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running validator nodes or staking environments
- Familiarity with event management and disaster recovery
- Knowledge of databases (Postgres), caches (Redis), and queues (Kafka)
- Network security expertise (TLS, firewalls, DDoS mitigation)
- Professional English proficiency
