Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute infrastructure changes using Agile methodologies to ensure seamless operation of mission-critical applications in production and non-production environments, maintaining stability and performance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Design and implement new infrastructure solutions that prioritize security, scalability, and compliance, ensuring they meet the demands of mission-critical applications while adhering to industry best practices and organizational standards.
• Maintain the availability and reliability of existing mission-critical systems through proactive monitoring, regular maintenance, and rapid response to incidents, minimizing disruptions to business operations.
• Automate the provisioning of new accounts and environments using Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, reducing manual effort and ensuring consistency across deployments.
• Collaborate with Risk Management and Compliance teams to establish and enforce security protocols, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure recovery plans are in place to mitigate potential threats and data loss scenarios.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end deployment pipelines that enable efficient, repeatable, and reliable delivery of applications, integrating tools like CI/CD platforms and configuration management systems.
• Proactively troubleshoot infrastructure issues, identify root causes, and implement effective remediation strategies to minimize downtime and ensure continuous service availability for customers.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and metric telemetry systems to track system performance, detect anomalies, and provide actionable insights for optimization and incident resolution.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configurations, operational procedures, and maintenance guidelines, ensuring clarity and accessibility for team members and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in infrastructure management, with a strong track record of successfully deploying and maintaining mission-critical systems in cloud or hybrid environments.
• Expertise in Agile and DevOps methodologies, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical infrastructure solutions that align with project timelines and quality standards.
• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible, including proficiency in writing and maintaining automated provisioning scripts.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure architectures.
• Ability to work closely with compliance and risk teams to ensure infrastructure solutions meet regulatory standards, data protection laws, and internal security policies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and system optimization, combined with the ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch, and experience in setting up alerting systems for proactive incident management.
• Strong documentation skills, including the ability to create clear, concise, and up-to-date technical documentation for infrastructure processes and system configurations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in cross-functional teams and provide leadership during infrastructure projects.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology landscapes and continuously improve infrastructure practices to align with emerging industry trends and organizational needs.
