Job Description
We are seeking a talented Game UI/Character Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing game characters and elements to life through your artistic skills and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Draw game characters based on project planning proposals and design requirements
- Create high-quality game icons according to the project specifications
- Develop engaging game character animations that align with the project vision
- Collaborate effectively with other project team members including developers and designers
- Proactively provide suggestions and insights regarding art style, character details, and visual elements
- Participate in regular team meetings and creative discussions to ensure artistic consistency
Job Requirements
- Strong hand-drawing skills with the ability to create original character designs
- Proficient in character animation techniques and principles
- Experience with European/American art styles is highly preferred
- Pixel art expertise is considered a significant advantage
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and accept constructive feedback
- Strong communication skills to effectively discuss and implement artistic concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and artistic versatility
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in game design or related field
- Familiarity with game development pipelines and processes
- Knowledge of industry-standard design software (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Understanding of UI/UX principles for game design
