Job Description
The Web3 Growth Manager (all genders) is responsible for driving ecosystem expansion for IOTA and Shimmer, with a focus on strategic planning, market analysis, and campaign execution. This role requires developing scalable frameworks to identify target audiences, optimize user and developer acquisition, and sustain long-term engagement. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to align growth initiatives with business objectives, ensuring measurable impact across both on-chain and off-chain activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies for ecosystem growth, including identifying target market segments and tailoring approaches for user and developer acquisition and retention.
  • Conduct in-depth market segmentation analysis to prioritize regions and industries, creating customized marketing plans to promote IOTA and Shimmer's EVM networks effectively.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital and physical channels, incorporating localized events, webinars, roundtables, sponsorships, and incentive programs to maximize reach.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to track KPIs such as user growth metrics, campaign ROI, and community engagement rates, while continuously refining strategies based on real-time data insights.
  • Monitor competitive landscapes and market trends to identify emerging opportunities, positioning IOTA and Shimmer as industry leaders through proactive adaptation and innovation.
  • Oversee event lifecycle management from planning to post-event evaluation, ensuring alignment with growth goals and delivering actionable insights for future campaigns.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, organizations, and influencers to amplify marketing efforts and create co-promotion opportunities.

Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in Web3 ecosystem growth, with a track record of driving user and developer adoption for blockchain platforms or DeFi projects.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data from tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or blockchain explorers, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Expertise in market research methodologies, including competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and trend forecasting for the crypto and Web3 space.
  • Fluency in creating and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, with experience in both digital marketing (SEO, social media, content marketing) and traditional outreach.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders, including developers, investors, and community members.
  • Ability to develop scalable processes for campaign execution, ensuring consistency and efficiency across global markets and local communities.
  • Knowledge of EVM networks and blockchain infrastructure, with understanding of how to position projects for mainstream adoption.

Qualifications

  • Advanced understanding of Web3 technologies, including blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and EVM networks.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (e.g., English, Mandarin, Spanish) to effectively engage with global and regional markets.
  • Experience with community building in crypto spaces, including managing online communities and fostering developer ecosystems.
