Job Description
This role is responsible for leading the operational strategy and execution of marketing activities in the Japanese market, with a focus on driving user growth and transaction volume for crypto platforms. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement event-based campaigns tailored to platform-specific user demographics and market trends. Key responsibilities include analyzing user behavior, optimizing event gameplay mechanics, and ensuring alignment with business objectives such as customer acquisition, retention, and volume growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive event planning strategies based on platform features, user preferences, and market dynamics, with a focus on achieving measurable KPIs like new user acquisition, engagement rates, and transaction volume growth.
- Oversee the implementation of marketing activities, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and alignment with overall business goals. This includes coordinating with design, product, and R&D teams to refine activity concepts and deliverables.
- Monitor and analyze activity performance data to identify trends, optimize campaign iterations, and address operational inefficiencies. Utilize data-driven insights to improve user retention and conversion rates.
- Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark industry best practices, refine activity templates, and enhance the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Stay updated on market changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with regional teams to ensure localized execution of campaigns while maintaining brand consistency across platforms. Provide strategic guidance for scaling operations in the Japanese market.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in operational management within the crypto industry, with a strong background in platforms such as Binance, OKX, or Bybit. Demonstrated success in driving user growth and transaction volume through marketing campaigns.
- Excellent analytical skills with expertise in data statistics and operational analysis. Proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, SQL, or Excel to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Strong understanding of Japanese market dynamics, including cultural nuances, regulatory environment, and user behavior patterns. Ability to develop localized strategies that resonate with Japanese audiences.
- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams, with a track record of coordinating design, product, and R&D efforts to deliver successful marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present insights to stakeholders and align teams on strategic objectives. Proficiency in Japanese language is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in event execution and user engagement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing operations, preferably in the fintech or crypto sector. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field is required.
