Job Description
As the Taiwan Operation Head, you will be responsible for formulating Bitget's strategic direction in Taiwan and driving sustainable business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and user behavior to develop innovative strategies that enhance user acquisition and transaction volume. You will lead cross-functional teams in business development, marketing, and operations, ensuring alignment with Bitget's global objectives while adapting to local market conditions. The position also involves shaping and executing local business models, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies tailored to the Taiwanese market, including market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and user segmentation.
- Lead business development initiatives to expand Bitget's presence in Taiwan, identify new opportunities, and establish partnerships with local stakeholders.
- Oversee marketing campaigns and events to increase brand awareness, drive user engagement, and achieve transaction volume targets.
- Manage a high-performance team, providing mentorship, fostering professional development, and ensuring team members meet performance metrics.
- Supervise financial operations, including budget allocation, profit and loss analysis, and tracking key financial milestones to support business goals.
- Represent Bitget in local media, industry events, and external communications, building relationships with regulators, partners, and customers.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance with local laws and adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align operational goals with overall business strategy and deliver measurable results.
Job Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams of 10+ members, with a track record of driving performance and fostering a collaborative work culture.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with experience in developing and executing growth plans for fintech or cryptocurrency platforms in Asia-Pacific markets.
- Deep understanding of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, with a focus on profitability and scalability.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, capable of representing Bitget to diverse stakeholders such as government agencies, media outlets, and business partners.
- Ability to analyze market data and user behavior to make data-driven decisions that optimize business outcomes and user experience.
- Experience in managing complex projects, including product launches, marketing campaigns, and operational process improvements, with a focus on timelines and deliverables.

- Fluency in English and Mandarin, with a working knowledge of local regulations and cultural nuances in Taiwan.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, business development, or marketing within the fintech, cryptocurrency, or e-commerce industry.

- Proven ability to lead and scale operations in a dynamic market, with a demonstrated understanding of digital transformation and innovation.
- Experience with financial reporting, KPI tracking, and performance management systems, including tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or ERP software.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Knowledge of local market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape in Taiwan, with a focus on cryptocurrency adoption and digital payment solutions.
