Job Description
As the CN Country Operation Manager, you will be responsible for developing Bitget's strategy in the Chinese region and achieving business growth. This role requires leading business development, marketing, and operations with a deep understanding of growth strategies to drive user acquisition and transaction volume in the market. You will act as a business owner, shaping local business models and executing strategies to elevate operational standards. Additionally, you will supervise budget, profit and loss performance, and financial milestones to ensure alignment with transaction and user goals. The position also involves leading key local marketing activities, including developing new partnerships and organizing impactful events, while representing Bitget in local media and communication with external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement market expansion strategies tailored to the Chinese region's regulatory environment and consumer behavior.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute business development initiatives, ensuring seamless coordination between departments.
  • Design and oversee local marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and traditional channels to maximize brand visibility.
  • Monitor and optimize budget allocation, profit and loss statements, and financial milestones to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify recruitment needs and build high-performing teams by managing, mentoring, and developing talent in the market.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership to align local operations with global business goals and strategic priorities.
  • Represent Bitget in key industry events, media interactions, and stakeholder meetings to enhance brand reputation.
  • Drive innovation in product offerings and user experience to meet evolving market demands and stay competitive.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local partners, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and growth.
  • Track KPIs such as user acquisition rates, transaction volume, and market penetration to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing operations within the Chinese market, preferably in the fintech or cryptocurrency industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with a track record of driving business growth through data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership abilities to manage and develop high-performance teams, with experience in team building and talent management.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and profit and loss analysis.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English, with strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders and represent Bitget effectively.
  • Ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and ensure compliance with local laws and policies.
  • Experience in marketing strategy development, including partnership building, event planning, and brand positioning.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools to assess market trends, user behavior, and operational performance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in business development, marketing, and operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior operational or management role within the financial services sector.
  • Knowledge of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency trading platforms to align strategies with industry advancements.
  • Proven success in achieving business targets, including user growth and transaction volume, in a competitive market.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and pivot strategies as needed to maintain growth momentum.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing plans that drive user engagement and brand awareness.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and report on performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience in managing budgets and allocating resources efficiently to maximize ROI.
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics, including cultural nuances and consumer preferences, to inform strategic decisions.
