Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Investment Research to identify and evaluate investment opportunities in the Web3 space, focusing on blockchain technology, DeFi protocols, NFT platforms, and related sectors.
• Conduct in-depth research on market dynamics, including price movements, trading volumes, and regulatory developments, to support the team's analytical processes and strategic planning.
• Systematically organize and document research findings, creating structured reports and databases that facilitate easy access and efficient utilization of information for projects and resources.
• Monitor and update the team's knowledge base with the latest industry news, technological advancements, and competitive intelligence, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• Prepare and maintain meeting minutes, interview transcripts, and other documentation to ensure transparency and clarity in team communication and project tracking.
• Assist in the development of analytical frameworks and tools to enhance research efficiency and effectiveness, including data visualization and trend analysis methodologies.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing research insights and data-driven recommendations, contributing to the evaluation of potential investments and market strategies.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on Web3 trends, regulatory changes, and technological innovations, ensuring expertise remains current and applicable.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or higher in finance, economics, business, or a related field, with a strong interest in Web3 technologies and investment research.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python, along with experience in using blockchain analytics platforms like Etherscan or blockchain.com.
• Excellent research and writing skills, capable of producing clear, concise, and well-structured reports that communicate complex information effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, ensuring accuracy in data collection, analysis, and documentation processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to dynamic environments while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Basic understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and risk management concepts, with a willingness to learn and grow in this area.
• Fluency in English, with additional language skills being a plus, to facilitate communication with international stakeholders and research teams.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate market hours and project deadlines.
• Previous internship or project experience in investment research, financial analysis, or technology sectors is preferred but not mandatory.
• Passion for Web3 innovation and a commitment to staying informed about industry developments, including emerging trends and regulatory changes.
