Job Description
This role focuses on conducting comprehensive research and analysis within the Web3 ecosystem to support investment decision-making. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating blockchain-based projects across various stages of development, including early-stage (first level), growth-stage (1.5 level), and mature-stage (second level) initiatives. By leveraging industry insights and market trends, the individual will produce high-quality investment reports that align with the strategic goals of the organization. Additionally, the role involves in-depth analysis of emerging industries and sub-sectors within the Web3 space, such as decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and blockchain infrastructure. The candidate will deliver detailed research reports that provide actionable recommendations for stakeholders. A key aspect of the position is identifying promising new projects in the market promptly, ensuring the organization stays ahead of industry developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough due diligence on Web3 projects, assessing their technical feasibility, market potential, and team capabilities.
- Develop and maintain a structured framework for evaluating projects at different maturity levels, ensuring alignment with investment criteria.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research findings into strategic investment recommendations.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for portfolio expansion and innovation.
- Conduct comparative analysis of projects within specific sub-sectors, highlighting unique value propositions and risks.
