Job Description
As a Capital Markets Analyst/Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth and maintenance of Maple's ecosystem of lenders, borrowers, and pool delegates. This includes driving initiatives to achieve targets in new customer acquisition, retention, sales conversion cycles, and prospecting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of strategies that align with the company's vision of fostering innovation in financial services. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive lender presentations, client proposals, and financial models to support new business initiatives and opportunities. This includes creating ad hoc analyses tailored to specific client needs and market conditions.
- Act as a subject matter expert by deeply understanding the requirements of Maple's clients, enabling effective pipeline management and operational process improvements. You will also be responsible for driving sales initiatives with precision and efficiency.
- Identify and cultivate new lending relationships with both traditional and crypto-native institutions, such as hedge funds, venture capital firms, trading platforms, exchanges, asset managers, corporates, and startups. This involves conducting thorough market research and outreach to expand Maple's network.
- Conduct in-depth evaluation and analysis of emerging ideas, market verticals, and industry trends to generate actionable product and growth recommendations. This requires staying abreast of market developments and leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with the Capital Markets team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance client satisfaction and business performance.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in capital markets, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, market analysis, and client relationship management. Familiarity with both traditional and crypto financial ecosystems is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences. This includes creating compelling materials that resonate with potential clients and partners.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial models and client proposals. Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization software is required.
