Job Description
We are seeking passionate metaverse event planners to join our team. As one of the largest Asian communities in Decentraland, we are dedicated to creating immersive and engaging virtual experiences for our users. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, organizing, and executing innovative events within the metaverse ecosystem. This position requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology and virtual reality platforms, combined with creative vision and strong organizational skills. The successful planner will be responsible for conceptualizing event themes, managing logistics, and ensuring seamless execution across multiple virtual platforms. They will also collaborate with stakeholders to enhance user engagement and drive community growth through interactive and memorable virtual experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate large-scale metaverse events, including virtual conferences, exhibitions, and social gatherings
- Develop creative concepts and content for event themes, ensuring alignment with community goals and brand identity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute event strategies, including venue selection, participant engagement, and technical implementation
- Monitor event performance through analytics tools and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Stay updated on emerging trends in the metaverse space and incorporate innovative ideas into event planning
- Manage event budgets and resources while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to event participants and stakeholders through effective communication and problem-solving
Job Requirements
- Proficient in both Chinese and English, with strong writing skills for copywriting and content creation
- Excellent verbal communication abilities, including public speaking and interpersonal interaction
- Outstanding organizational and coordination skills, with proven experience in managing complex projects
- Strong creative thinking and conceptualization abilities, with a portfolio of successful event ideas
- Basic understanding of blockchain technology and Decentraland platform mechanics
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
- Excellent time management skills, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of virtual event production tools and technologies (e.g., VR platforms, event management software)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
