Degen is seeking a passionate and bilingual Telegram Community Moderator who thrives in Web3 culture. This role is perfect for someone who loves engaging with online communities and has a deep understanding of decentralized technologies. You will be the frontline ambassador, ensuring a vibrant and well-moderated space for our growing community.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily order in the Telegram group by monitoring conversations and interactions
- Assist in answering group members' questions regarding projects, updates, and general inquiries
- Help organize and execute community activities to boost engagement and participation
- Collect and document simple user feedback to improve community experience
- Address user violations and misconduct according to established community guidelines
- Collaborate with the team to implement strategies for community growth
- Stay updated on Web3 trends to provide relevant insights to the community
Job Requirements
- Fluent in English and at least one other language (written and verbal)
- Proven experience in community moderation, preferably in Web3/blockchain spaces
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle conflicts and difficult situations professionally
- Familiarity with Telegram platform features and moderation tools
- Passionate about building and nurturing online communities
- Available to work flexible hours to cover different time zones
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Telegram group admin or moderator
- Active participation in multiple Web3 communities
- Basic graphic design skills for creating engaging community content
- Knowledge of additional social media platforms (Discord, Twitter, etc.)
