Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Community Moderator to oversee and maintain a positive and engaging environment across our social platforms, with a primary focus on Discord. The ideal candidate will ensure community guidelines are followed while fostering meaningful interactions among users.
Key Responsibilities
- Moderate and enforce the rules across various social platforms to maintain a respectful and productive community.
- Manage Discord channels, including organizing and operating events, games, and other interactive activities.
- Engage pleasantly with users to encourage active participation and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Troubleshoot and provide assistance with Discord bots, integrations, and other technical dependencies.
- Build camaraderie within the user base by fostering genuine interactions and connections.
Job Requirements
- Prior experience in community moderation, preferably on Discord or other social platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse user groups.
- Basic technical proficiency to manage and troubleshoot Discord bots and integrations.
- Ability to enforce community guidelines while maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor.
