Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Solidity, or JavaScript, with experience in blockchain development or security analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and identify security vulnerabilities in decentralized systems.
  • Excellent communication abilities to present findings and reports to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous learning.
  • Basic understanding of cryptographic principles, smart contract security, and blockchain architecture is preferred.
  • Experience with security tools like Geth, Truffle, or blockchain explorers is advantageous.
  • Must be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week for a duration of 3-6 months, with flexibility to adapt to project timelines.
Preferred Qualifications

1. Familiarity with blockchain consensus mechanisms and network protocols such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Binance Smart Chain.

2. Experience in writing technical documentation or creating security frameworks for blockchain applications.

3. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, including threat detection, incident response, and risk management strategies.

4. Ability to analyze and interpret data using SQL, Excel, or data visualization tools to support security decision-making.

5. Interest in contributing to open-source blockchain security projects or participating in industry conferences and workshops.
