Job Description:
The Growth & User Operations Manager will be responsible for driving key metrics and enhancing user engagement through strategic initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of DeFi protocols and the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to drive protocol KPIs (TVL, trading volume, unique users) through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and community incentives.
- Optimize user onboarding journeys to simplify the transition from awareness to proficiency, reducing barriers to entry.
- Manage user retention programs by analyzing behavioral data and designing loyalty rewards/engagement activities.
- Serve as a public-facing voice of the protocol, building authentic relationships with global communities.
- Lead community management teams in creating content calendars and engaging discussions across Discord, Twitter, Telegram, etc.
- Foster ecosystem development by supporting third-party developers building on the protocol.
- Create educational content (blogs, tutorials, videos) that simplifies complex DeFi concepts.
- Organize educational initiatives (AMAs, Twitter Spaces, webinars) to enhance community understanding.
- Establish strategic partnerships with top protocols, yield farming projects, KOLs, and media outlets.
- Analyze protocol metrics to generate insights for growth strategies and product improvements.
- Gather and synthesize community feedback to bridge product-market communication.
Job Requirements:
- 2+ years experience in Web3/crypto operations (DeFi protocol experience preferred)
- Deep DeFi knowledge (yield farming, staking, derivatives, yield strategies)
- Ability to explain complex products like yield-bearing tokens and decentralized identity
- Exceptional communication skills for content creation and global community engagement
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools (Dune Analytics, Nansen, BI tools)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong Web3 network (KOLs, developers, project teams)
- Experience managing community managers or growth teams
- Hands-on experience using major DeFi protocols
- Thrives in fast-paced, decentralized remote environments with strong self-motivation
