Job Description
As a Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Scroll's influence within the blockchain ecosystem. This position requires proactive engagement with decentralized applications (dApps) and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) to establish new relationships and strengthen existing ones. You will be responsible for steering governance processes and fostering collaboration between Scroll and its partner ecosystems. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of an outreach strategy that aligns with Scroll's core values, ensuring long-term partnership sustainability through innovative approaches. A key focus will be on mapping the evolving dApp landscape to identify emerging trends and patterns that can enhance Scroll's ecosystem. You will also evaluate new business opportunities and manage a prioritized pipeline of potential partnerships. Cross-functional collaboration with the Developer Relations, Communications, and Research teams is essential to support the seamless integration and onboarding of new partners. Finally, you will oversee the lifecycle of projects from both inbound and outbound lead generation, ensuring strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to grow Scroll's presence in the blockchain industry
- Identify, cultivate, and maintain strategic relationships with dApps, DAOs, and other blockchain stakeholders
- Lead governance initiatives and facilitate cross-ecosystem collaboration between Scroll and its partners
- Design and implement innovative outreach programs to secure long-term partnership commitments
- Monitor and analyze the dApp market landscape to uncover trends that benefit Scroll's ecosystem development
- Conduct thorough evaluations of potential business opportunities and their alignment with Scroll's vision
- Manage a dynamic pipeline of partnership prospects, prioritizing high-impact opportunities
- Collaborate with DevRel, Comms, and Research teams to create cohesive onboarding processes for new partners
- Oversee project management from lead generation to execution, ensuring cross-functional resource alignment
- Provide strategic insights to optimize partnership value creation and ecosystem growth
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in blockchain industry partnership management (minimum 3-5 years)
- Deep understanding of decentralized technologies, dApp ecosystems, and DAO governance models
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to develop and execute multi-channel outreach strategies for blockchain projects
- Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate market trends and partnership ROI
- Experience with project management methodologies for cross-ecosystem collaboration
- Fluency in English with additional language skills preferred for global partnership outreach
- Collaborative mindset with proven track record of cross-functional team coordination
- Knowledge of blockchain infrastructure and protocol development fundamentals
- Ability to create and maintain strategic partnership documentation and reporting frameworks
- Experience with community engagement strategies for decentralized projects
- Strong understanding of business development principles and deal structuring
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Knowledge of blockchain analytics tools and market research methodologies
- Proven ability to build and sustain long-term relationships with key industry players
- Experience with partnership lifecycle management from initial contact to post-onboarding support
- Strong understanding of Scroll's technology stack and ecosystem goals
- Ability to develop partnership KPIs and performance tracking systems
- Experience with cross-border partnership negotiations and legal compliance requirements
