Job Description
As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for translating user insights into comprehensive design deliverables including concepts, personas, user journeys, storyboards, system maps, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma and other design tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements into the product development lifecycle. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to balance creative vision with technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert user research data into actionable design concepts and visual frameworks, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs
- Develop detailed personas and user journey maps to guide design decisions and improve product usability
- Create interactive prototypes and visual mockups that demonstrate user experience flows and interface designs
- Conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and refine product features based on user behavior patterns
- Collaborate with Product Leads and Leadership team to align design strategy with overall product vision and roadmap
- Present design concepts through clear verbal explanations and visual documentation to stakeholders and decision-makers
- Stay current with emerging trends in web3 design and apply innovative solutions to enhance product offerings
- Work with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are accurately implemented and technically viable
- Coordinate with branding and go-to-market teams to develop cohesive visual identities and marketing materials
- Facilitate collaboration across design, product management, engineering, and stakeholder teams for end-to-end product delivery
- Maintain and evolve the design system while identifying opportunities for product improvement and innovation
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing user research, wireframing, and prototyping work
- Expertise in using Figma for creating interactive prototypes and visual design assets
- Demonstrated ability to conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback for iterative improvements
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketing professionals
- Deep understanding of web3 design principles and blockchain technology fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to create and maintain consistent design systems across multiple product platforms
- Experience with user personas and journey mapping to guide design strategies
- Proficiency in visual design fundamentals including typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Collaborative mindset to work with stakeholders and team members on product development initiatives
- Strong attention to detail and ability to balance creative vision with technical constraints
- Knowledge of design thinking methodologies and agile development practices
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team-based design projects
- Experience with product branding strategies and visual identity development
- Proficiency in conducting competitive analysis and benchmarking design solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges and optimize user experiences
- Ability to create and maintain design documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with responsive design and cross-platform UI/UX implementation
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
