Product Designer at KAST

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the UX/UI design process for KAST's mobile app and internal web applications
• Create cohesive, delightful user experiences that meet user needs and business objectives
• Build and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistent, high-quality app experiences across all platforms
• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to iterate rapidly on design solutions
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering their professional growth and design skills

Job Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile and web app designs
• Expertise in creating and maintaining scalable design systems
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product and Engineering
• Experience mentoring and guiding junior designers
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
• Background in designing for both consumer and enterprise applications
• Knowledge of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
