Job Description
This role involves full lifecycle management of public blockchain protocol projects, including requirement analysis, task breakdown, progress tracking, risk control, and delivery acceptance. The candidate will coordinate resources across technical, product, testing, and operations teams to ensure the successful implementation of modules such as nodes, consensus mechanisms, smart contracts, and on-chain governance. Additionally, the role requires organizing project reviews, iteration planning, weekly meetings, and retrospective sessions to maintain alignment and resolve issues. The candidate will identify critical paths and dependencies, address resource conflicts, technical challenges, and cross-team collaboration bottlenecks. Responsibilities also include assisting technical leads with version release management, overseeing testing, deployment, and on-chain processes, as well as refining project management methodologies to enhance team efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire lifecycle of public blockchain protocol projects, from planning to execution and delivery
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical, product, testing, operations) to implement core blockchain components
- Facilitate project meetings including reviews, planning sessions, and retrospectives
- Identify and resolve project dependencies, resource conflicts, and technical obstacles
- Support version release processes including testing, deployment, and on-chain operations
- Develop and optimize project management standards to improve team productivity
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of technical project management experience, preferably in blockchain (public chains, consortium chains, Layer2, or node services)
- Proficiency in agile methodologies with ability to break down technical requirements
- Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities for technical and scheduling risks
- Preferred qualifications: Technical background (development/testing/operations) or PMP/ACP certification
- Blockchain industry experience with knowledge of major protocols (Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, Polkadot)
- English proficiency for documentation and cross-timezone communication
- Understanding of open-source community governance or protocol upgrade experience
