Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National PR Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic public relations initiatives to enhance our brand reputation and media presence across the country. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong media relationships, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with both local and global teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local media outlets, journalists, and key industry opinion leaders to secure positive coverage and manage brand reputation
- Collaborate with headquarters to draft, localize, and distribute press releases, commentary articles, and other PR materials tailored to the local market
- Manage all aspects of media interactions including interview arrangements, spokesperson attendance at events, and coordination of local media activities
- Monitor media landscape for public opinion trends and reporting situations, providing timely feedback and alerts to the global PR team regarding potential issues
- Develop comprehensive localized media information packages, including Q&A documents, press kits, and media response preparation materials
- Work closely with business development and marketing teams to create and implement joint PR strategies for partner collaborations and special events
- Maintain and manage spokesperson scheduling lists according to the A/B/S hierarchy system, ensuring effective media communication and coordination
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong media relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and local language
- Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Experience in crisis communication and media monitoring
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
- Knowledge of digital media platforms and social media strategies
- Flexibility to travel as needed for media events and meetings

- Experience working in both corporate and agency PR environments
- Background in technology, consumer goods, or related industries
- Existing network of media contacts in the local market
- Experience working with international teams and managing global-local PR coordination
