Job Description:
We are seeking a highly curious and creative [Custom Indicator Strategy Developer] to join our team. As a core member of our custom indicators team, you will leverage our powerful backtesting platform and AI analysis tools to design and develop innovative custom indicators. Your role involves deep analysis of multi-dimensional data ranging from technical indicators to macroeconomic policies, uncovering potential Alpha opportunities, and constructing, optimizing, and validating effective quantitative strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Custom Indicator Development & Optimization: Utilize the platform's proprietary AiScript language to design, code, and maintain various custom indicators (including both user and internal requirements). Conduct performance backtesting, including historical and randomized data backtesting, and continuously iterate and optimize indicator logic based on results. Manage and maintain the indicator library to ensure quality, stability, and documentation completeness.
- Quantitative Strategy Research & Analysis: Integrate multi-dimensional data such as technical, news-based, fundamental, and liquidity factors to proactively discover, research, and validate new trading logic and strategy factors (Alpha). Produce in-depth strategy analysis reports that clearly articulate the logic, backtest performance, risk characteristics, and potential improvements of each strategy.
- Macro & Industry Analysis: Monitor global macroeconomic trends, industry developments, and significant policy changes. Perform attribution analysis to assess the impact of macroeconomic or news events on markets or specific assets, and apply findings to indicator or strategy design.
- AI Technology Empowerment: Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) to enhance efficiency in indicator development and data research.
Job Requirements:
- Cross-disciplinary Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in quantitative fields such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Computer Science; or candidates with strong Computer Science/Engineering backgrounds and extensive financial industry experience.
- Market & Indicator Understanding: Deep comprehension of market data like candlestick charts and trading volume, along with familiarity with calculation principles and applications of common technical indicators (e.g., Moving Averages, RSI, Bollinger Bands).
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python) for independent data processing, analysis, and visualization.
- Fast Learning Ability: Enthusiasm for learning domain-specific languages (e.g., AiScript, PineScript, My-Language) and adaptability to new tools.
- AI Tool Application: Practical experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) for information gathering, data analysis, and code generation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Live Trading Experience: Personal live trading experience or internship/work experience in strategy development at quantitative funds, proprietary trading firms, or similar institutions.
- Specific Language Experience: Prior experience with AiScript, TradingView PineScript, WenHua My-Language, or similar trading indicator scripting languages.
