Job Description
As a React Native Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native framework. This role requires full ownership of projects from conceptualization to deployment, with the ability to make strategic decisions that balance technical feasibility and business objectives. You will work within a collaborative environment where autonomy is encouraged, but support is available for complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end project management including requirement analysis, architecture design, and implementation of mobile solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product managers, designers, QA engineers) to deliver feature-rich mobile applications
- Develop and maintain high-performance React Native applications with a focus on code quality, scalability, and user experience
- Implement responsive UI components that adapt seamlessly to various screen sizes and device orientations
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain technical standards
- Debug and resolve complex issues through systematic analysis and implementation of effective solutions
- Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing technical improvements
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in mobile development
- Document technical processes and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
- Participate in agile development cycles and contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows
Job Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) in developing mobile applications using React Native framework
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and related technologies
- Experience with mobile application performance optimization techniques
- Knowledge of mobile UI/UX design principles and cross-platform development best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and collaborative development tools
- Experience with mobile application testing frameworks (Jest, Detox) and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with team members
- Excellent communication skills for technical discussions and stakeholder reporting
- Understanding of mobile application security principles and data protection standards
- Experience with cloud services and backend integration for mobile applications
- Strong attention to detail with commitment to code quality and maintainability
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and business priorities
- Experience with mobile application analytics and user feedback integration
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for mobile applications
- Proficiency in using mobile development tools (Android Studio, Xcode) and emulators
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs integration in React Native projects
- Understanding of mobile application monetization strategies and user engagement metrics
- Ability to mentor junior developers and share technical expertise
