This position is seeking a highly qualified Blockchain Researcher with a doctoral degree or postdoctoral experience. The ideal candidate will be based in Shanghai or have the flexibility to work remotely. The role requires a strong academic background, preferably with overseas study or research experience, to contribute to cutting-edge blockchain innovation. The researcher will focus on advancing foundational blockchain technologies, including but not limited to privacy protection protocols, consensus algorithm optimization, and cross-chain interoperability solutions. This includes conducting in-depth research, designing novel frameworks, and implementing innovative approaches to address industry challenges. The position also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to explore blockchain applications in emerging fields such as decentralized finance, supply chain management, and digital identity verification. The researcher will be expected to maintain a high level of technical proficiency and stay abreast of the latest developments in blockchain and AI integration to drive forward-thinking solutions for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in blockchain technology development, with a focus on privacy-enhancing techniques, consensus mechanisms, and cross-chain collaboration protocols.
- Participate in the strategic design of blockchain platform architecture and formulate technology roadmaps for scalable and secure solutions.
- Develop applications that integrate blockchain with AI systems, creating hybrid solutions for enterprise-level blockchain use cases.
- Prepare technical documentation, whitepapers, and research reports on blockchain-related topics for internal and external stakeholders.
- Convert research findings into publishable academic papers, contributing to the global blockchain knowledge base through peer-reviewed publications.

Job Requirements
- PhD degree or equivalent postdoctoral experience in computer science, cryptography, distributed systems, or related fields.
- Proven track record of conducting original research in blockchain technology, with publications in reputable journals or conferences.
- Strong technical expertise in core blockchain components such as consensus algorithms, smart contract development, and cryptographic protocols.
- Experience in designing and implementing privacy-preserving blockchain solutions, including zero-knowledge proofs or homomorphic encryption.
- Ability to develop applications that combine blockchain with AI technologies, demonstrating cross-disciplinary innovation capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in English for academic writing and international collaboration, with additional language skills being a plus.
