Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security, including data encryption, access control, and threat detection mechanisms.
• Advising on the architecture of secure software systems, ensuring redundancy and resilience for mission-critical applications like transaction processing platforms and KYC systems.
• Writing and maintaining code that adheres to security best practices, with a focus on minimizing vulnerabilities while maintaining performance and scalability.
• Conducting regular internal security reviews using tools such as code audits, penetration testing, and compliance checks to ensure system integrity.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to make technical decisions that optimize security without compromising usability or functionality.
• Implementing and refining information security policies, incident response protocols, to align with industry standards and organizational needs.
• Monitoring and improving security practices through continuous evaluation of existing systems and emerging threats.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and financial industry standards to mitigate legal and operational risks.
• Documenting security processes, procedures, and system configurations for audit purposes and knowledge sharing.
• Providing expert guidance to team members on security-related topics and fostering a culture of security awareness within the organization.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and implementing secure cloud infrastructure solutions, preferably in environments requiring high availability and data protection.
• Strong background in developing secure software systems with a focus on redundancy, fault tolerance, and compliance with security frameworks.
• Expertise in writing secure, testable, and efficient code using languages such as Python, Java, or C#, with a deep understanding of secure coding standards.
• Knowledge of security testing methodologies, including static and dynamic analysis, to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in software systems.
• Ability to make informed technical decisions that balance security requirements with user experience, ensuring systems are both robust and user-friendly.
• Experience in creating and maintaining information security policies, incident response plans, and compliance documentation for financial institutions.
• Proficiency in understanding and applying regulatory requirements such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and financial industry standards to ensure compliance.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, explain security concepts, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address complex security challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve security objectives and drive continuous improvement.
