Job Description:
This role is responsible for leading the technical strategy, architecture design, and team management for blockchain-based computing power networks. The position requires deep expertise in distributed systems, blockchain protocols, and team leadership to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Strategy & Architecture: Develop long-term technical vision and roadmap for computing power networks, including cross-chain interoperability and performance scaling solutions. Lead core technical decisions on consensus mechanisms (PoW+PoS hybrid), verifiable computing (vCompute), and computing power certification (CPC) models.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage high-performance engineering teams with capabilities in protocol development, security hardening, and operations. Establish technical standards, CI/CD pipelines, and quality assurance processes.
- Core System Development: Architect and implement critical modules including computing power matching engines, on-chain settlement logic, node communication protocols, and vCompute verification systems. Optimize for performance, security, and scalability.
- Technical Governance: Establish architecture review processes, code quality standards, and risk control mechanisms to manage technical debt and ensure system evolution.
- Resource Planning: Manage technical budgets including human resources, cloud infrastructure, and third-party services.
Job Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 8+ years in backend/blockchain development with 5+ years in technical leadership. Proven track record of building teams from scratch and delivering large-scale distributed systems or public blockchain protocols.
- Technical Skills:
- Expertise in Go/Rust (C++/Java as bonus)
- Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals: consensus mechanisms, cryptography, P2P networks, smart contracts
- Distributed systems optimization for high concurrency and availability
- DePIN ecosystem knowledge (decentralized computing networks, GPU sharing, compute tokenization)
- Cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and decentralized storage solutions
- Leadership Qualities:
- Strong decision-making under uncertainty
- Cross-functional collaboration with executives and product teams
- Resilience in dynamic environments
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Layer 0/1 protocols or Cosmos SDK/Polkadot Substrate
- Knowledge of competitor protocols (Butterfly Protocol, Render Network, etc.)
- English proficiency
