Job Description
This role focuses on strategic sourcing and procurement operations for cloud infrastructure, node resources, data services, and payment solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end vendor management to ensure cost efficiency and service reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate upstream suppliers (cloud services/node resources/data services/payment solutions etc.) through comprehensive market research
- Conduct price comparisons and lead commercial negotiations to secure optimal terms
- Draft and execute procurement contracts while maintaining positive supplier relationships
- Monitor market trends and adjust procurement strategies to achieve continuous cost reduction
- Collaborate with technical teams to align procurement specifications with business requirements
- Implement supplier performance evaluation systems to ensure service quality
- Develop contingency plans for critical resource procurement
Job Requirements
- In-depth understanding of infrastructure ecosystems, particularly transit node networks
- Minimum 2 years experience in procurement/commercial negotiations with proven ability to manage RFQ processes
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin for international supplier communications
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in cost modeling and TCO calculations
- Existing network of cloud/IT infrastructure suppliers preferred
- Legal contract drafting experience (especially for cloud services) considered a strong asset
- Ability to work across time zones when necessary
