Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand project requirements and business logic to develop effective testing plans
- Design and execute comprehensive test cases to ensure maximum coverage and execution efficiency
- Conduct thorough testing of product functionality and API interfaces
- Perform functional testing across multiple platforms including web, mobile, and web management backend systems
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies
- Experience with functional testing, API testing, and cross-platform testing
- Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance and load testing
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Certification in software testing (ISTQB or similar)
