Mitosis is a liquidity protocol for the modular era, designed to redefine cross-chain liquidity. It makes cross-chain liquidity lending (LPing) more attractive by enabling it to be liquid. Mitosis LPs receive derivative tokens that can be exchanged 1:1 for the assets they have locked up. LPs can use these derivative tokens to participate in various DeFi applications on the supported Ethereum L1 chains and L2 Rollups, essentially allowing them to generate additional income on top of the default fee sharing for their cross-chain assets.
