The Seam platform was founded in 2022 by Nick Confrey, a former Meta engineer. Seam utilizes web3 technology to enable users to code, design, and plan their ideal social spaces online. Users can drag and drop elements such as GIFs, music, and even embedded websites to create their profiles and receive rewards for their creations from the community. By eliminating the need for advertisements and data collection, as well as by adjusting the incentives between the platform and users, Seam is pioneering a new business model for social media.
