Job Description
The Japanese BD Manager is responsible for driving business development initiatives in the Japanese market. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining relationships with local communities, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and potential partners to enhance brand visibility and project exposure. The manager will actively participate in online engagement activities such as Japanese AMA (Ask Me Anything) sessions, webinars, and social media campaigns to foster community interaction and promote HAG's offerings. Additionally, this position involves supporting the company's market presence through strategic outreach and collaboration efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute market expansion strategies tailored to the Japanese market, identifying new opportunities for business growth.
- Build and nurture relationships with Japanese communities, KOLs, and industry stakeholders to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to organize and participate in online events, including AMA sessions, Q&A forums, and virtual product launches.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform business development decisions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create localized content that resonates with Japanese audiences and aligns with brand messaging.
- Support community management efforts by addressing user inquiries, resolving conflicts, and maintaining a positive online environment.
- Track the performance of business development initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of long-term partnerships and collaborations that align with HAG's business objectives.
Job Requirements
- Native or fluent proficiency in Japanese, with strong written and verbal communication skills. English proficiency is also required for international collaboration.
- Proven experience in business development, preferably within the tech or SaaS industry, with a focus on market expansion in Asia-Pacific regions.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to build trust and secure partnerships with Japanese stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate market data, identify trends, and develop actionable strategies.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and content creation software.
