Job Description
Responsible for identifying and evaluating high-quality blockchain projects across various industries, including but not limited to DeFi, NFTs, and enterprise solutions. This role involves proactive engagement with project teams through in-depth discussions, technical assessments, and strategic alignment to ensure mutual growth opportunities. The candidate will also conduct comprehensive due diligence processes to validate project viability, team capabilities, and market potential, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of project onboarding, from initial discovery to post-launch support, ensuring seamless integration with the company's ecosystem.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, compliance, marketing) and external partners to streamline resource allocation and accelerate project timelines.
- Develop and execute strategic partnerships with market makers such as TokenFund, quantitative funds, and other institutional players in the cryptocurrency space.
- Establish long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), large stakeholders, and independent traders to enhance brand visibility and market penetration.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and refine existing strategies accordingly.
- Prepare detailed business proposals, pitch decks, and partnership agreements to secure commitments from potential collaborators.
- Facilitate communication between project teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Track and report on partnership performance metrics, including deal volume, user acquisition, and revenue generation.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in blockchain business development, preferably with a background in cryptocurrency projects or decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized applications (dApps) to evaluate project technical feasibility.
- Excellent networking and relationship-building skills to establish trust with project teams, institutional investors, and industry influencers.
- Ability to conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify strategic opportunities.
- Proficiency in negotiating and drafting partnership agreements, including terms and conditions, revenue-sharing models, and compliance frameworks.
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) to present complex blockchain concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Knowledge of regulatory landscapes in the cryptocurrency industry to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial metrics, market potential, and risk factors associated with blockchain projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
