Job Description
This role focuses on business development and growth in the Chinese-speaking and Asian target markets. The candidate will be responsible for identifying high-value partnership opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving monthly trading volume targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Expansion: Drive contract business development in Chinese-speaking and Asian markets, identifying high-value opportunities and maintaining client relationships to meet monthly trading volume goals.
- Channel & Community Growth: Expand and manage channels, introducing brokers (IBs), institutions, and KOL partners, with a focus on key communities such as trading groups, Telegram/Discord quant communities, and East/Southeast Asian trader circles.
- Partnership Management: Serve as the official representative to establish and maintain partnerships with trading KOLs, IBs, trading academies, and copy-trading teams, fostering long-term strategic alliances.
- Agent System Development: Recruit and nurture regional master agents, build an efficient IB system, and optimize Affiliate and Referral program operations.
- Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute marketing initiatives (e.g., trading competitions, incentive programs, co-marketing) to enhance brand influence and user engagement in Asian markets.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with product and operations teams to gather market and user feedback, driving contract product optimization and user experience improvements.
Job Requirements
- Experience: Proven background in BD or sales at a Web3 cryptocurrency exchange.
- Performance: Minimum average monthly contract trading volume of $50 million.
- Resources: Established network of local clients, trading communities, KOLs, or partners in Chinese-speaking or Asian regions (e.g., Southeast Asia, East Asia).
Preferred Qualifications
- Hyperliquid Ecosystem: Familiarity with Hyperliquid’s ecosystem and product mechanics, with hands-on experience in on-chain perpetual contracts.
- DEX/On-Chain Derivatives: Experience in BD for decentralized exchange (DEX) contracts, with knowledge of perpetual contracts and on-chain trading ecosystems.
- Top Exchange Background: Prior BD experience at a Top 20 CEX or Top 5 Perp DEX.
- Traditional Finance: Background in CFD/FX/precious metals/derivatives brokerage or financial sales.
Additional Advantages
- Deep understanding of major trading platforms (e.g., Binance, OKX, Bybit, Bitget, Hyperliquid).
- Active trader with hands-on contract trading experience.
- Experience in building user growth systems from scratch.
- Knowledge of DeFi, RWA, on-chain asset issuance, and trading ecosystems.
