Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with leading DeFi projects to understand and improve risk modeling practices
• Participate in technical specification design and implementation of simulation and statistical frameworks
• Lead the research of financial modeling techniques to select the most applicable strategies for Chaos Labs’ products and customers
• Assist in the development and maintenance of systems to calculate risk metrics for partner protocols
• Diligently architect and manage the evolution of the code base, including collaborating with other teams to maximize scale and leverage across the organization
• Identify, measure, and manage market risks across Chaos and its customers
• Engage with customers and strategic partners in support of product efforts, providing risk expertise to ensure their success
• In times of crisis (i.e., when a protocol is under attack or a vulnerability is detected), assist in reaction/recovery efforts to ensure the protection of client user funds

Job Requirements

• Strong background in risk modeling, financial modeling, or quantitative analysis
• Experience working with DeFi protocols and understanding of blockchain technology
• Proficiency in designing and implementing simulation and statistical frameworks
• Ability to architect and manage complex code bases and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle crisis situations effectively
• Strong communication skills to engage with customers and strategic partners
