Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to collaborate with leading DeFi projects, enhance risk modeling practices, and contribute to the development of cutting-edge financial modeling techniques. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and strategic partners to ensure the success of Chaos Labs' products and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with leading DeFi projects to understand and improve risk modeling practices
- Participate in technical specification design and implementation of simulation and statistical frameworks
- Lead the research of financial modeling techniques to select the most applicable strategies for Chaos Labs’ products and customers
- Assist in the development and maintenance of systems to calculate risk metrics for partner protocols
- Diligently architect and manage the evolution of the code base, including collaborating with other teams to maximize scale and leverage across the organization
- Identify, measure, and manage market risks across Chaos and its customers
- Engage with customers and strategic partners in support of product efforts, providing risk expertise to ensure their success
- In times of crisis (i.e., when a protocol is under attack or a vulnerability is detected), assist in reaction/recovery efforts to ensure the protection of client user funds
Job Requirements
- Strong background in risk modeling, financial modeling, or quantitative analysis
- Experience working with DeFi protocols and understanding of blockchain technology
- Proficiency in designing and implementing simulation and statistical frameworks
- Ability to architect and manage complex code bases and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle crisis situations effectively
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and strategic partners
