Job Description
As a Developer Relations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a thriving ecosystem around Shardeum's blockchain platform. This position focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with the developer community, ensuring their experience with Shardeum is exceptional and aligned with industry standards. You will act as a bridge between developers and the core team, translating technical needs into actionable insights while promoting the platform's value proposition.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain relationships with developers, advocating for Shardeum's platform and addressing their feedback to enhance user experience
- Create, maintain, and update comprehensive developer documentation that is accurate, accessible, and aligned with technical best practices
- Provide hands-on support to developers building on Shardeum, including debugging assistance and troubleshooting technical challenges
- Manage and curate Shardeum's official bug reporting GitHub repository, ensuring timely resolution and transparency in issue tracking
- Produce high-quality technical content such as tutorials, API guides, and integration documentation to empower developers
- Organize and deliver developer workshops through virtual platforms or in-person events at hackathons, universities, and industry conferences
- Collaborate with marketing teams to strategically communicate Shardeum's key value propositions across targeted channels and audiences
- Actively engage with the developer community on Discord, responding to technical queries and providing timely support
- Design and maintain boilerplate templates that streamline the onboarding process for new developers building on Shardeum
- Establish partnerships with third-party infrastructure providers, facilitating seamless integration of their products with Shardeum's ecosystem
- Conduct regular community sentiment analysis to identify and prioritize the most requested features for Shardeum's roadmap
- Support the CTO in shaping Shardeum's feature roadmap by providing data-driven insights from developer feedback and usage patterns
- Transition into a Developer Relations Manager role as the team scales and the ecosystem grows
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in developer relations, community management, or technical communication roles
- Deep technical understanding of blockchain development, smart contracts, and decentralized systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
- Proficiency in using GitHub for documentation management, issue tracking, and community engagement
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences, including developers, partners, and stakeholders
- Experience with virtual event platforms and public speaking to deliver effective workshops
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and channel management to promote platform adoption
- Collaborative mindset to work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and executive teams
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address technical challenges and improve developer workflows
