Job Description
As a front-end engineer at Side Labs, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our decentralized applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive, responsive interfaces that align with our brand identity and technical vision. Your work will directly impact the usability and accessibility of our products, ensuring they meet the needs of a diverse user base across desktop and mobile platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop user-centered functionality for a wide range of web applications, focusing on seamless integration with blockchain protocols and DeFi tools.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers and web designers to enhance the overall user experience, ensuring consistency across all product lines.
- Create and maintain a unified component library for all user-facing products of Side Protocol, including DEX, lending platforms, and other DeFi solutions.
- Quickly implement functional UI elements based on design models, prioritizing performance optimization and accessibility standards.
- Ensure that all components are fully functional, elegant in design, efficient in execution, and optimized for mobile devices to provide a seamless user experience.
- Conduct thorough UI testing to identify and resolve usability issues, ensuring the highest quality of user interaction across all platforms.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a front-end engineer, with a strong background in building scalable and secure web applications for the DeFi and crypto space.
- Proficiency in modern front-end technologies such as React, Vue.js, or Angular, along with a deep understanding of web3 frameworks and libraries.
- Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with experience in optimizing performance and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong grasp of responsive design principles and mobile-first development strategies to create user interfaces that work seamlessly on all devices.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, with a focus on code quality and best practices.
- Experience with UI testing frameworks and tools to ensure the reliability and usability of our products.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
