Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Write the narrative of what is happening on Solana by collecting and analyzing data utilizing blockchain explorers, charts, community forums, etc.
• Identify and interpret key trends, patterns, and insights to develop data-driven stories and reporting.
• Spot trends, patterns and emerging narratives within Solana, covering what’s happening with major airdrops, memecoins, DeFi, NFTs and other verticals.
• Collaborate with the SolanaFloor editor and other journalists to pitch and write clear, compelling, and accurate articles.
• Produce long-form articles and reports with unique data and angles.
• Engage with the Solana community and industry experts for insights.
• File 6 trend stories per week.

Job Requirements

• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, particularly Solana ecosystem.
• Proven experience in data analysis and storytelling.
• Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into engaging content.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Familiarity with blockchain explorers, DeFi protocols, and NFT markets.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for staying updated with the latest trends in the crypto space.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in journalism or content creation within the blockchain/crypto industry.
• Active participation in Solana community forums or social media channels.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools to enhance storytelling.
