Product Designer at Aptos

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with product and engineering teams to craft the experience for one of our core consumer product verticals (e.g., our wallet), ensuring alignment with strategic goals and technical constraints.
• Leading design projects across the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and research to prototyping, UI/UX development, user testing, and final delivery, while managing multiple launches simultaneously.
• Owning the end-to-end design journey, including conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, refining UI/UX elements, and ensuring production-ready designs that are scalable, accessible, and compliant with industry standards.
• Partnering closely with engineering, product, and business teams to identify design challenges, propose innovative solutions, and validate their practicality and desirability through iterative testing and feedback loops.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in consumer product design, particularly in fintech or digital wallet platforms.
• Fluent in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, and capable of creating high-fidelity prototypes that reflect user interactions and business workflows.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions to stakeholders, collaborate with engineers on technical implementation, and present findings to business teams for strategic alignment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, prioritize tasks effectively, and deliver results within tight deadlines without compromising quality or user experience.
• Strong analytical mindset to interpret user data, conduct usability testing, and iterate on design solutions to optimize performance and user satisfaction.
• Collaborative spirit to work within agile environments, engage in design sprints, and contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.
