Job Description
YAP Global is an international public relations and communications consultancy specializing in the cryptocurrency, decentralized finance (DeFi), and web3 sectors. Our mission is to build trust through impactful storytelling. With a globally distributed team of creative professionals, we collaborate with clients ranging from DeFi organizations and climate change innovators to NFT marketplaces and developer tooling platforms. We also serve as media partners for major blockchain conferences like Consensus, EthCC, and ETHDenver.
We are expanding our collaborative global team and seeking a superstar Account Executive to join us in telling stories that build trust.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies, and opinion pieces
- Monitor media coverage and report results to the team and clients
- Pitch clients’ stories to strategic media outlets to boost coverage and awareness
- Proactively arrange interviews and editorial meetings for clients’ spokespeople (in-person or virtual)
- Assist in developing creative PR campaign ideas and executing media strategies
- Act as a liaison between clients and the media when required
- Analyze PR coverage and provide written wrap-up reports
Job Requirements
- Must have the right to work in Singapore
- 1-2 years of experience or educational background in Public Relations, Communications, or Journalism
- Knowledge of fintech, blockchain, or cryptocurrency, or a genuine desire to learn
- Outstanding organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail, including excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities
- High motivation and ability to work independently under pressure
- Strong news sense and storytelling skills
- Creative, strategic, and innovative thinking
- Strong interpersonal skills for client and media interactions
- Willingness to communicate with memes
- Experience with communication platforms like Telegram, Slack, X (formerly Twitter), and Discord
