Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented PR professional to join our team. This role involves supporting media relations, content creation, and PR campaigns across Asian markets in both English and Chinese languages. The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, media outreach experience, and the ability to anticipate industry trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Help maintain daily blogs, update media lists, and prepare coverage reports
- Distribute daily roundups of company, competitor, and market news, and contribute to daily and weekly progress reports
- Track company news while anticipating industry news and trends
- Perform in-depth industry research
- Assist with media outreach and cultivate relationships with Asian media in both English and Chinese languages
- Collaborate on media partnerships and develop compelling story angles/pitches
- Coordinate with external teams and business units to execute PR campaigns and make announcements
- Compose press releases and carry out media outreach efforts
- Provide support for crisis management at the Asian level
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in PR, media relations or communications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal)
- Strong research and analytical skills with ability to identify industry trends
- Excellent writing and editing skills for various PR materials
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with media monitoring tools and PR software is a plus
- Knowledge of Asian media landscape and cultural nuances
